Facilities Manager Job
Summary:
Supervise and direct the grounds crew to perform all aspects of creating and maintaining a visually pleasing landscape.
Manage the maintenance of the grounds and related properties.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Direct and supervise the grounds maintenance team and mechanic.
Collect bids for related contracted work and over see the jobs.
Detect and correct drainage issues.
Maintain a safe environment for the residents and employees.
Answering inquiries from residents and management regarding landscape.
Maintain the records for water usage for St.
Johns water management.
Oversee the budget for the Grounds Department Evaluate employee performance and correct poor performance and behavior when needed.
Learn and teach best practices for landscape techniques.
Repair main water lines.
Coordinate and order seasonal change out of flowering beds.
Schedule trimming, roof and gutter cleaning, weed control in beds, and repair of fencing.

Working Conditions:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places; Routinely works in outside weather conditions; is frequently exposed to hot and cold weather, wet and/or humid conditions May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic and caustic chemicals.
The noise level in the work environment may be unusually high requiring protective gear.

Previous supervisory experience required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
