Human Resource Generalist STATUS OF POSITION:
Full-time, Exempt

The HR Generalist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and procedures associated with the human resources functional areas to include:
Hiring and staffing, employee relations, benefits, safety programs, management training, compliance and reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
Manage recruiting efforts to fill open position.
Promote HR programs to create an HR and Legally compliant and conflict-free workplace.
Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies, update of the employee handbook and other HR and legal documents.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Maintains OSHA, Workers Compensation, Safety and ACA records, reports, and logs to conform to regulations.
Support physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records.
Administrator for employee benefits, such as the Medical and Dental Insurance Plans.
Manages Employee Relations Issues and conducts employee investigations.
Provide key reporting information about hiring/recruitment, active employees and termination analysis.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Occasionally travel to remote locations.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and 5
years of Human Resources experience preferred Human Resources certification a plus (PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) Proficient in MS Office Suite of programs Extremely organized with a gifted ability for follow-up and follow-through.
Must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team setting.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
